COVID-19 Update

June 18, 2020

Starting June 22nd, 2020, all branch lobbies will be unlocked and open Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm. All Saturday drive ups to open on July 11th.

All members are encouraged to wear a mask when in the branch and will be required to wear one when meeting in an office due to space limitations. Social distancing markers are in place – please be respectful of other members and maintain a 6 foot minimum at all times.

Please keep using ATMs, drive ups, and digital channels if you can.

And please don’t forget that we are here to help you - throughout the pandemic, Vermont Credit Unions have provided nearly $358 million in financial support to member-owners. If you are struggling financially, don’t hesitate to call - we’ll work together to find a solution that fits your needs.

We look forward to serving you. See you soon.

The Governor has relaxed restrictions so that we may now open our branches.  One Credit Union has implemented a plan to re-open our lobbies safely.

Listen to a message from Kevin DeRosa, Senior Manager, Retail

What we are doing:
  • We have installed sneeze guards at all member interface points, such as teller lines and MSR/Loan Officer desks.
  • We have installed floor guides to maintain social distancing guidelines.
  • We are sanitizing all branch touch points multiple times each day.
  • All staff are scanned for temperature and answer a short health questionnaire daily.
  • All staff are required to wear masks when working with members.
  • We are re-opening BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

What this means for you:
  • You must schedule an appointment in advance; doors are still locked.
    • Please call (800) 578-5024 to schedule a convenient time
    • Or, request an appointment using the Contact Us link on the right side of the header of our website. It is just below the Online Banking login.
    • Or, send us an email at info@onecu.org .
  • Members are required to wear a mask in the branch. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
  • Please follow the social distancing guides on the floors in the branch.
  • Importantly, we still encourage you to conduct as much of your business as you can through online/mobile banking, by calling us at (800) 578-5024, and/or applying online.
    • If you need help with the online options, check out these "how to" videos.  Or, give us a call.  We can walk you through the steps online, or help you directly - whichever you prefer.

Our Hours:
  • All branches will be open Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. These changes are as much about keeping our members safe as they are about keeping our team safe.  Stay well and we will all stay strong!  We look forward to seeing you soon.

March 12, 2020

Like everyone else, One Credit Union is taking precaution and prevention of COVID-19 seriously. We are also heartened by recent insight from our medical leaders, such as Dr. Joshua White, Chief Medical Officer at Gifford Hospital in Randolph. Dr. White reminds us panic is not helpful. We all have a social responsibility to each other to take steps to prevent and slow the spread, and “flatten the curve.” We recognize the number of reported cases will climb as testing becomes more available. The State and Medical establishment are preparing for this in an orderly fashion; and so are we.

Let’s work together; let’s each do our part.

We have ordered hand sanitizer for teller lines, loan offices and ATM machines. Please use them! The health and well-being of our members and our staff is a top priority.

If you are sick or have been in contact with someone infected with the virus, or prefer not to venture out unnecessarily, please remember you can still get your banking at One Credit Union done, without coming into the branch!

Online Banking and Bill Pay. If you haven’t registered for online banking please do so now! It’s fast, easy and secure. Pay your bills without a single stamp!
Mobile Banking. Download our app to your mobile phone or tablet.
Mobile Deposit. Have a check to deposit? No need to come to the branch or ATM. Learn how to make that deposit right from your smartphone or tablet!
Call us. We’re here for you, toll free, at (800) 578-5024 during regular business hours.
